Whether it’s our flagship series Electric Acorn or upcoming experimental projects, Figurative Eight blends artistic freedom with industry-level execution, proving that independent doesn’t mean amateur — it means unstoppable.
Our Vision
We envision a studio where creativity drives opportunity — where artists, writers, and animators can shape their own paths without waiting for permission. Figurative Eight exists to empower Cre8tives to build, experiment, and tell stories that matter.
Our goal? To become a new kind of animation collective — one that blends innovation, community, and entertainment under one collaborative roof (even if that roof is virtual for now).

We’re not funded yet, which means all roles are currently volunteer-based. But this isn’t just “working for exposure.” It’s about being part of something from day one — shaping the look, feel, and future of a studio that values its Cre8tives.
When funding is secured (and trust us, we’re working on it), paid positions will open — with first priority given to those who helped bring Figurative Eight to life in these formative stages.

Carlos:
Seinor Cre8tive
Carlos is a talented character modeler and a key member of the Cre8tives, bringing both skill and positivity to every project. He is highly proficient in ZBrush, Maya, and Substance Painter, transforming bold ideas into fully realized characters and worlds. A natural collaborator and one of the team’s greatest idea generators, Carlos thrives in the creative process, helping shape concepts and push projects forward with energy and focus. Beyond animation, he is also a streamer, sharing his creativity and enthusiasm with a wider audience. Ambitious, upbeat, and endlessly supportive, Carlos elevates the work of everyone around him, making the studio stronger, more inspired, and more fun.
JoJo:
Integr8tor-in-chief
Jojo is a Navy veteran with a strong background in film, including editing, camera work, and sound design. He leads the studio’s editing team and specializes in compositing and rigging, while also being a capable animator. Codename: Flying Jewel is his creation, showcasing his vision and ambitious storytelling. With a degree in computer animation, Jojo combines technical skill and cinematic instincts to ensure every project is polished, seamless, and visually compelling.
Matt:

Matt is the mind behind Electric Acorn and Codename: Nine Lives. An Army veteran with over two decades in the tattoo industry, he earned his degree in computer animation to bring his visions to life. He excels at character modeling, storytelling, world-building, and writing, contributing across the entire animation pipeline. He voices the entire main male cast of Electric Acorn, bringing his creations fully to life. Versatile, hands-on, and endlessly creative, Matt drives the studio’s projects with passion and precision.
